When it comes to videos, the Youtube app is probably the first thing that comes to mind. It's been around for a long time, and there's probably not a single individual who hasn't used it. However, the Youtube app is not the only one that is prospering online. Rumble is a video-sharing app created by Canadian internet entrepreneur Pavlovski in 2013 and it works similarly to the Youtube app. According to Alexa.com, an Amazon-owned web analytics firm, Rumble is now one of the top 1,000 most visited websites in the world with worth about $500 million. The difference between these two apps is that Rumble app is showing as an app that doesn’t monitor political or scientific content. On the Rumble app, you can subscribe to other channels that you like, you can watch videos, upload your own, and much more.
So, we’re gonna go to some main features and how to use this app. For you to make an account you need to go to the website and create one there and later you download the app for your phone or Desktop version depending on where you wanna use it and log in to your account. And here is how the app looks. Well, when you open it, down on the screen you have a couple of options. First is a feed which is where you can find videos from the channels that you subscribed to, next is Rumbles, then you have the Camera button, next, you have My videos and Earnings on the right end. For the Camera on Rumbles you need to download another app that is exactly Camera Rumbles for you to upload videos from the gallery or to record them directly.
From the three lines up and left in the corners you have access to your Profile, Settings, My subscriptions and the last is the referral list. There you can see how referrals you have, tickets, and commission.
If you go to Search, there you can explore other content. It’s divided into two sections Channels and Videos and if you click on a channel and you search for something in particular you will see channels related to that. When you search in the Videos sections you will find videos related to the word you just wrote. When you find the video that you really like and you like to support the channel, you can press the Punch button which is called Rumble and it’s similar to Youtube’s like which gives the person that owns the video to make more money or to get more followers as it’s increasing its popularity. As we mentioned before in the menu on the left, where there are the Rumbles, you can see the amount of Rumbles that you have from other people in your videos.
The most important thing like on every other app is that you post your own videos and it’s not copyrighted. You need to post your own and original content and not be stolen from other people and the music and everything in the video can’t be copyrighted. You need to read the policies before you start using the app and you must respect them while using Rumble in order not to get your videos shut down.
When you go to the Rumbles down right next to Feed, you will see videos there that you can watch for 9 seconds (for the 2021 version - before that it was 4 seconds) and earn a ticket for free which leads you to raffles and they bring you the money. After you earned a ticket you can click Nope or Rumble to express that you like or do not like the video or you can swipe left for Nope and swipe right for Rumble. You can also share videos with other people, in the same way, like on other apps as usual. On the Trophy button, you can find Video Winners and channels that won trophies and how much money they earned.
On the Earnings, you can find Estimate earnings (Youtube, 3rd party earnings, and Rumble Earnings) and Your Videos (Uploaded, Approved Videos, Approval Percentage, and CMP) and you can Cash out your earnings.
The main advantage of this app in my opinion is, firstly it is a very user-friendly app. Everything is well-organized and named exactly as it should so you know exactly where to find what you need and you can navigate through it very easily. The second and maybe the most important thing is that you can earn money very easily. As I explained, only by watching videos for 9 seconds or until the timer is off done do you earn tickets and there’s no limit to how many videos you can watch and you earn tickets with that. So, you watch as much as possible and you have bigger and bigger chances to go to raffles and win and earn money. When you upload your videos, don’t get disappointed if you don’t get many Rumbles right away. Just keep trying and rumbles will come over time. For more rumbles you can add tags on every video that you post so the people that search for that kind of stuff will easily find your video, so you should put accurate tags to the videos. Aside from tags, you need to put the name of the video of course, and you can add additional information like location and time of the video, and you can put a description of the videos at least five words, so make sure you give accurate information for people to have easy access to them.
You can make $5 dollars a day but you need to make at least $50 to cash them out, so keep up the work and keep adding another $5 each day. So, that is in general about this app. Like with every other content you make, you need to be original and creative and not give up for you to make succeed. Download this app and give it a try.
